Midwifery Bereavement Support Lead

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Midwifery Bereavement Support Lead to join our team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust.

The role involves providing sensitive holistic care to parents and their families following the loss of a baby during pregnancy or soon after birth.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in bereavement care and provide continuity of care into subsequent pregnancies.

The trust is committed to helping you develop and enhance your skills and maximize your potential in all aspects of midwifery.

The role requires a UK NMC qualification and relevant degree or diploma.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of bereaved patients
  • Provide support and guidance to families experiencing child-bearing loss
  • Support other staff caring for bereaved families
  • Provide support and guidance to families in subsequent pregnancies

The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.
