Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Bereavement Support Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one support to families, facilitate group supervision sessions, and foster a trusting environment for reflection and healing.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to families: Offer emotional support and guidance to individuals coping with bereavement.
- Facilitate group supervision sessions: Lead monthly group sessions for bereavement support volunteers, providing a safe space for reflection and growth.
- Foster a trusting environment: Create a supportive atmosphere where individuals feel comfortable sharing their experiences and emotions.
- Integrate safeguarding measures: Ensure the well-being of patients and families by implementing necessary safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong social skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Management skills: Demonstrate ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Patience and empathy: Show compassion and understanding when working with individuals experiencing grief and trauma.
