Job Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to join Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a Bereavement Care Coordinator. The successful candidate will provide specialized care and support to families who have experienced loss, ensuring they receive the best possible care during a difficult time.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with midwives, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to our patients. We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement individualized care plans for families experiencing loss
  2. Work collaboratively with the bereavement team to ensure seamless care
  3. Provide emotional and psychological support to families
  4. Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Essential Requirements:
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration
  • Experience in bereavement care and perinatal loss
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the team
