Job Overview
Scheduling Specialists play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between patients and medical staff. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at North Metro Knoxville Medical, specializing in women's health services.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing referrals, and maintaining effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

We offer a comprehensive range of medical services, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, mental health, digestive diseases, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehab, sports medicine, and emergency care. Our medical staff consists of over 600 physicians representing 30 specialties and subspecialties.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate scheduling, referral management, registration, prior authorization, and insurance verification processes for patients
* Work closely with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely appointment scheduling
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies

Requirements:
* One year of experience in a healthcare setting performing scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and/or billing functions
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
* Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and scheduling software

Working Conditions:
This is an on-site, full-time position located at our facility in Knoxville, TN. We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience.
