About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Medical Scheduler to join our Women's Services team at North Metro Knoxville Medical. As a Medical Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing referrals, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate patient appointments, manage referrals, and ensure accurate and timely scheduling
* Work closely with medical staff to develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:
* One year of experience in a healthcare setting performing scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and/or billing functions
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
* Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and scheduling software

Salary Range:
$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
