Visual Arts Coordinator

About the Role:

Theartgorgeous, a leading art club in Oxford, is seeking an experienced Part-time Art Studio Assistant to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children aged 6-16, providing guidance and encouragement as they develop their artistic skills.

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who can assist with our art classes, mixing paints and preparing materials for sessions, setting up and tidying up after classes, and providing positive reinforcement to our young artists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mixing paints and preparing materials for art sessions
  • Providing guidance and encouragement to children in their artistic projects
  • Setting up and tidying up after art sessions
Requirements:
  • Art GCSE at grade 7-9
  • Good knowledge of artistic techniques, including tone and perspective
  • Experience working with children (desirable)
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Ongoing education or training in art (e.g. A level, Foundation, degree)
  • Ability to commute to our Oxford location
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus benefits that include ongoing education or training in art.

Estimated Salary Range: £12.50 - £15.00 per hour

Schedule:

Thursday: 4pm-6pm

Friday: 4pm-6pm
