About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Policy Specialist to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As an HR Policy Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the review and delivery of HR policies, practices, and procedures to promote a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the return on investment from the implementation of revised and new policies and procedures, providing updates to the Head of HR Advisory and the HR Director.
- Work with the Head of HR Advisory and the P&C Leadership team to ensure all UK people policies and procedures are up-to-date, reflect the latest developments in effective people management, and are in line with business needs, best practice, and current and proposed employment legislation.
- Take an evidence-based approach to the development of policies, reflective of best practice, academic research, organizational data, and internal stakeholder concerns.
- Suggest the introduction of new or updated policies as appropriate.
- Work with the HR Shared Services team to ensure their internal processes are reviewed, updated, or created to reflect the creation of new policies or where policies are updated.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and update associated policy and procedures accordingly.
- Manage DSAR requests received from the Privacy team, coordinating the gathering of information in line with set timescales.
- Manage the HR Advisor team, providing generalist HR advice regarding the implementation of the firm's people policies.
