About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HR Policy Manager to support the review and delivery of HR policies, practices, and procedures that promote a high-performance culture. This role will ensure fairness, inclusivity, and high engagement while driving business and people goals.
- Monitor the return on investment from revised and new policies, providing updates on benefits and cost savings to the Head of HR Advisory and the HR Director.
- Work with the Head of HR Advisory and the P&C Leadership team to ensure all UK people policies and procedures are up-to-date, reflecting the latest developments in effective people management and aligning with business needs, best practice, and current employment legislation.
- Take an evidence-based approach to policy development, incorporating best practice, academic research, organizational data, and internal stakeholder concerns.
- Suggest the introduction of new or updated policies as necessary.
- Collaborate with the HR Shared Services team to review, update, or create internal processes reflecting new policies or policy updates.
- Work with the Employee Relations Manager to monitor changes in employment legislation and update associated policies and procedures.
- Coordinate DSAR requests from the Privacy team, gathering information according to set timescales.
- Manage the HR Advisor team, providing generalist HR advice on implementing the firm's people policies.
About the Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an HR professional with a strong understanding of HR employment law and operations. You should have excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as experience with project management, data analytics, and Employee Relations (ER) and team member experience. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working with diverse stakeholders to drive change and implement process improvements.
