Adoption Social Work Specialist

The Isle of Wight Council's Permanence Team is seeking a skilled Adoption Social Worker to support children as they transition into adoptive families. This role emphasizes safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children we work with.
As part of our team, you will undertake Step-Parent Adoption assessments, Special Guardianship assessments, and assessments for special guardianship support. Based within the Adoption Hub, you will work closely with colleagues in the Fostering Hubs.
This role requires experience and skills in working with children and adults from all walks of life. If you are passionate about supporting positive outcomes for children and carers, we would love to hear from you.
