We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Technical Specialist to join our team, who will provide technical assistance to our senior technical specialists and support the development of new digitization and signal processing systems.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing technical support to senior technical specialists in the development of new digitization and signal processing systems.
  • Designing and implementing engineering interfaces within new data acquisition infrastructure for radio astronomy observations.
  • Developing models and simulations to validate state-of-the-art data processing systems.
  • Providing technical support to technicians operating and maintaining radio astronomy observing systems.
