We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Lead Psychologist for Access and Urgent Care Services in Central and West Lancashire.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a senior clinical psychologist to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality mental health services in our region. As a Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to a team of psychologists and other mental health professionals.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions and treatments for individuals with complex mental health needs. Your expertise will be essential in shaping our service delivery and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychologists and other mental health professionals
- Develop and implement effective interventions and treatments for individuals with complex mental health needs
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
- Substantial assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist at senior level
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
