Appoint Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join their team in Kendal, Cumbria. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in the development of their Learning Disabilities and Autism services.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide specialized clinical psychology input, conducting individual assessments, formulation, intervention, and consultation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to clients with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide specialized psychological therapy and skills
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
- Supervise and train a friendly therapeutic team
- BPS recognized psychology degree
- UK HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
- Chartered Psychologist status
- Approved supervisor within the guidelines of BPS and relevant division
- Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits
- Part of a network of therapists providing access to CPD, training, and peer supervision
