We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide occupational therapy services to patients across various settings, including medical, surgical, and community environments.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to promote patient independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of occupational therapy programs and services.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members and students.
- Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and on-call shifts.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
