Experienced Occupational Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional care within the community setting of Carlisle, Brampton, and surrounding areas. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of secondment.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored treatment plans to a diverse caseload of patients in both community and community hospital settings.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and support.
- Provide rapid response services to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitate smooth discharges from Brampton Community Hospital.
- Contribute to the Home First initiative, supporting A&E and emergency admissions unit at the Cumberland Infirmary by providing timely assessments and interventions.
About Our Team
We are a friendly and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality care. You will be part of a seven-day service with core working hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Full-time staff are required to work hour shifts five days a week, including some bank holidays and weekends on a rotating basis.
