Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Community Occupational Therapy Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering specialist advice and support to children and young people with disabilities, their families, and carers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a clinical caseload, assessing, advising, planning, delivering, and evaluating treatment for children and young people with a range of disabilities.
- Provide supervision and support to other members of the Occupational Therapy team, including Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to achieve agreed outcomes and improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Children's Community Occupational Therapy service, using the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) as a framework.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working with children and young people with physical disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
