Band 5 Occupational Therapist
North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Acute Medical Unit, and ED, Neuro Rehabilitation, Community Hospital, and Community Rehabilitation Service.
Main Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. The role will involve working as part of a team, consolidating skills as an independent practitioner, and developing delegation skills to support staff.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for Occupational Therapists to explore specialist areas of practice, with each rotation lasting six months. The Trust offers a strong Occupational Therapy network across both health and social care, providing professional development opportunities and access to high-quality supervision. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to become an active member of our Band 5 Peer Support Group.
