The role of Energy Systems Planner is a critical part of National Grid's Higher Apprenticeship Programme, focusing on the planning and coordination of electrical infrastructure projects. As an Energy Systems Planner, you will work closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless performance of our high-voltage direct current (HVDC) interconnectors.
This position requires a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental policies, as well as risk awareness and planning skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in electrical power networks engineering, working towards an Electrical Power Networks Engineer Apprenticeship (Level 4). Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary knowledge and expertise to succeed in this field.
We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the smooth operation of our HVDC interconnectors.
