Infrastructure Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Section Planner to work on a contracting basis across the whole of Kent, based out of Ashford. This contract will be 6 months long initially. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and maintaining infrastructure maintenance documentation, leading and managing weekly Plan-Do-Review sessions, and acting on behalf of Section Managers during planning meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and maintain infrastructure maintenance documentation.
- Lead and manage weekly Plan-Do-Review sessions.
- Act on behalf of Section Managers during planning meetings.
- Prepare draft versions of quarterly plans.
- Develop Safe System of Work plans.
- Submit requests for green zone access and isolation.
- Organise and optimise all assigned tasks for the section.
- Update systems, databases, and records with precision as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Expertise in producing work plans and optimising resources.
- Core Planning Skills Level 2.
- Experience with scheduling profiles in work planning/scheduling systems.
- Proficiency in the Safe System of Work Planning Process and System.
- Understanding of access and possession procedures and systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience using SSOWPS Ellipse.
- Understanding of maintenance delivery methods and techniques.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
