Company Overview:

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is a leading provider of contracting services, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions to clients across Kent.

We are currently seeking an experienced Section Planner to join our team, working on a 6-month contract basis initially.

The successful candidate will be based out of Ashford and will be responsible for leading and managing weekly Plan-Do-Review sessions, as well as acting on behalf of Section Managers during planning meetings.

Job Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled planner to take on a challenging role, utilising their expertise in producing work plans and optimising resources. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage weekly Plan-Do-Review sessions
  • Act on behalf of Section Managers during planning meetings
  • Update systems, databases, and records with precision as needed
  • Expertise in producing work plans and optimising resources

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Core Planning Skills Level 2
  • Experience with scheduling profiles in work planning/scheduling systems
  • Proficiency in the Safe System of Work Planning Process and System
  • Understanding of access and possession procedures and systems
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities

Desirable Qualifications:

In addition to the essential requirements, we would also consider candidates who have experience using SSOWPS Ellipse and an understanding of maintenance delivery methods and techniques.
