FinTech Recruitment Solutions is a leading recruitment agency, and we are excited to be partnering with a prestigious client to find an exceptional Accounts Payable Assistant for their team in Aberdeen. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Job Description:

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, checking, processing, and paying all 3rd party invoices and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate Contractor spreadsheets and updating relevant logs and accounting records.
  • Ensuring the Purchase Ledger Log is up-to-date and correct at close of business each day.
  • Investigating and resolving Debit balances on Vendor accounts.
  • Providing administrative support for self-billing routines and credit applications for new suppliers.
  • VAT checks on new suppliers and contractors.
  • Generating weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Assisting in other areas of the Finance department as required.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger focused roles, experience with accounting software such as Sage, and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
