About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Merchandising and Inventory Manager to join our team at SMD Group. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional results.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in merchandising and inventory management, excellent analytical skills, and strong communication abilities. A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.

In this role, you will work closely with our customer service team to ensure that customer needs are met, and that our product offerings meet their expectations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform purchasing decisions and develop effective merchandising strategies.
  • To manage inventory levels and ensure that products are available when needed.
  • To collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • To continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising and inventory management strategies and make adjustments as needed.
  • To identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • To ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any regulatory requirements.
  • To foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage open communication among team members.
