  • Ensure residents understand how to operate communal facilities such as laundry equipment, kitchen areas and assisted bathing.
  • Deliver a case management approach that assists tenants to manage safely at home.
  • Carry out annual reviews with residents or as and when personal circumstances change to identify interventions that will assist the tenant to remain safe at home.
  • Carry out tenant daily wellbeing checks based on assessed risk that promotes independence.
  • Respond to emergency calls via the emergency system when on duty.
  • Assist residents with sustaining their tenancy including explaining their rights and responsibilities within the tenancy agreement.
  • Ensure tenants have access to other services such as Adult Social Care to meet their housing need that enables the person to remain at home.
  • Assist tenants to complete referrals for aids, adaptations, and assistive technology.
  • Provide advice on low level rent arrears and liaise with the Income team.
  • Explain to residents how to register for on line digital services to enable them to pay rent and report repairs direct.
  • Triage domestic abuse incidents in line with company service standards' response times.
  • Provide advice and assistance with the completion of welfare benefit applications.

Requirements:

  • Experience of crisis management, risk minimisation and making decisions in difficult situations.
  • Ability to keep up to date with organisational knowledge in relation to policy and processes to ensure sign posting to the appropriate business area.
  • Ability to listen, understand and signpost to meet the needs of clients.
