About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Home Group. As a key member of our housing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer support and guidance to our customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a sensitive and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular building patrols to ensure the security and maintenance of our properties, identifying and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our customers, their families, and other stakeholders, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with our wider team to provide comprehensive support services, including health and safety, maintenance, and administrative tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, ensuring compliance and best practice in all aspects of your work.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and software.
