About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Totally plc's Urgent Care division.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to support our clinical care teams and enhance capacity within our multi-professional teams. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing patient health needs, undertaking consultations, and making diagnoses and treatment decisions using your advanced clinical practice skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health needs and develop treatment plans
  • Undertake consultations with patients, taking comprehensive patient histories and conducting examinations
  • Decide on and carry out treatment, including prescribing medication or referring patients to specialist services
  • Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
  • Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
  • Clinical skills qualification at degree level
  • Evidence of completion of study in minor illness
  • Independent prescriber status
