We are seeking an exceptional Mental Health Specialist Leader to join our team at the Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental health services in our region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership within the South Kent Coastal Community Mental Health Team. You will work closely with two other Consultant colleagues to deliver high-quality care to patients under your care. Your expertise will be essential in strengthening relationships with external agencies, including the local CCG.

In this role, you will take an active leadership role in screening referrals and assessments jointly with other team members. You will also be involved in medical input as required to patients under the care of the Community Mental Health Team.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
