**Job Title:** Senior Mental Health Professional in Geriatric Care

 

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mental health professional to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Professional in Geriatric Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to older adults with complex mental health needs.

 

**Salary:** The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

 

**Job Description:** As a Senior Mental Health Professional in Geriatric Care, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist care to older adults with complex mental health needs, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Conducting regular reviews and assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to mental health care for older adults

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree or equivalent qualification in psychiatry
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate experience in psychiatric care, preferably in a geriatric setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
