The Action Mental Health team is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our operational team as a Mental Health Trainer. As part of the OUR Generation project, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering joint training schemes to increase mental health literacy, enhance emotional resilience, and build leadership skills among children and young people aged 9-25. You will also work with key youth workers to build capacity and improve outcomes for this vulnerable population.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for improving mental health and wellbeing in Northern Ireland and beyond. If you have experience working with young people, are confident in your ability to deliver high-quality training, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver joint training schemes to increase mental health literacy and improve emotional resilience among children and young people aged 9-25.
  • Work with key youth workers to build capacity and improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
  • Collaborate with other partners to achieve project objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials.
