We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Specialist to join our team at Action Mental Health. As part of the OUR Generation project, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to increase mental health literacy, enhance emotional resilience, and build leadership skills among children and young people aged 9-25. You will also work closely with key youth workers to build capacity and improve outcomes for this vulnerable population.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to increase mental health literacy and improve emotional resilience among children and young people aged 9-25.
  • Work closely with key youth workers to build capacity and improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
  • Collaborate with other partners to achieve project objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials.

Requirements:

  • A Level/RQF Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related discipline (health, education/training or social care sector).
  • Paid or voluntary experience of working with people with mental health needs, young people, or disadvantaged groups.
  • Experience in developing and extending relevant networking opportunities.
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car.
