Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

Salary Range: £13.03 - £13.13 per hour (estimated annual salary: £26,300 - £27,200)

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant at Corkey House in Belfast. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective and efficient management of the Home on a day-to-day basis, maintaining high standards of professional practice.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Care Planning and Delivery: Assist with designing, planning, and implementing individual care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met while promoting independence.
  2. Leadership and Training: Provide supervision, guidance, and support to staff, promoting good leadership skills and a positive work environment.
  3. Administration and Communication: Deal with enquiries, maintain records, and communicate effectively with residents, relatives, and professionals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience caring for older people, people with disabilities, or those with mental health needs.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 Award in Health and Social Care, with a willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
