Experienced Chemotherapy Care Professional Wanted

We are looking for a dedicated nurse to join our team as a Chemotherapy Care Professional, providing oncology treatments to patients in their own homes across Belfast and Northern Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading specialist in Cancer Care, delivering top-notch oncology services. As a Chemotherapy Care Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring patient safety by conducting regular blood tests and toxicity assessments.
  • Administering IV and oral chemotherapy medications with precision and efficiency.
  • Providing holistic care to patients, encompassing pump disconnections and line care.
  • Delivering safe and effective IM/SC injections.
  • Working independently in the community while maintaining strong connections with a supportive nursing team.
  • Staying current with new technologies and therapies in oncology care to maintain best practice standards.

This role comes with an attractive annual salary of £43,000, negotiable based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Company car or an additional £4850 car allowance.

To excel as a Chemotherapy Care Professional, you must possess:

  • An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy.
  • Expertise in cannulation and venepuncture.
  • A valid driving license.
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent certification.
