Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our market-leading below-ground solutions to Groundworkers, Main Contractors, and Civil Engineering businesses working on construction and infrastructure projects.

The Role: The successful candidate will cover the London region, which includes everything inside the M25. You will be responsible for selling a range of below-ground solutions on a hire basis, working closely with our National Accounts team and Engineers. You will have a superb back-office support function to help you be successful, including a fabulous in-house Design team, a great marketing team, and Hire Controllers at each of our regional depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell our below-ground solutions to Groundworkers, Main Contractors, and Civil Engineering businesses
  • Work closely with our National Accounts team and Engineers to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Contribute to the development of our sales strategy and tactics

Requirements:

  • Field sales experience within the construction sector
  • Proven track record of new business and account management
  • Sold products to Groundworkers or into below-ground projects in the past
  • Full and clean driving license
  • Ability to sell direct to end-users at site level

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary: £45,000 - £50,000
  • OTE year 1: £5,000 (completely uncapped over target)
  • Company car (hybrid options)
  • 25 days plus statutory holiday
  • Pension: 10% with a 5% company contribution
  • Healthcare and PMI
