Job Overview
Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with students aged 6 to 19 who have a range of PMLD, MLD, and SLD needs, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and associated difficulties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) to support students' unique needs and goals.
- Liaising with other professionals, such as therapists and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and reports.
- Participating in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning to meet the needs of students with severe or profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and severe learning difficulties (SLD).
- Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) to support students' unique needs and goals.
- Liaising with other professionals, such as therapists and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and reports.
- Participating in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of £31,650 - £49,084 per annum, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who share a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with complex needs.
