Job Description:

Casovans Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for a skilled Financial Administrator - Payroll to join our team. As a Payroll Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of payroll systems, procedures, and legislation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to work closely with the HR team to resolve payroll queries, manage employee benefits, and maintain accurate payroll records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and salaries.
  • Benefits Management: Manage employee benefits, including pension schemes, sick pay, and maternity leave.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate payroll records, including hours worked, leave taken, and absences.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve payroll-related queries from employees, managers, and HMRC.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and enhance payroll systems, ensuring backups and system updates are regularly conducted.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR, health and safety, and employment law.

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. A minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll administration, preferably in an educational setting, is essential. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is necessary.

Salary: £38,500 per annum (pro rata) based on the location and industry standards.
