Payroll Administrator Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our payroll team, managing multiple client payrolls with accuracy and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll—whether in a bureau, outsourced, or in-house setting and be ready to hit the ground running.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the Payroll Manager with the preparation of weekly and monthly payroll runs
- Gather client information in multiple formats
- Process updates such as tax codes, bonuses and pay rates, ensuring all changes are made by agreed deadlines
- Prepare and load BACS payments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client portfolio
- Manage inquiries from clients, their employees and relevant authorities
- Oversee the administration of pension auto-enrolment
- Calculate statutory payments, including holiday pay, SMP, SSP and SPP
- Handle the onboarding of new starters and process leavers
- Complete end of month and year end submissions
- Produce and distribute P45s and P60s
- Generate and submit all required reports, including HMRC filings
- Issue employee pay slips and provide detailed payroll summaries to clients
