Apprentice Mechanical Engineering Specialist

Futures, a leading recruitment agency, is currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Engineer to join a dynamic packaging manufacturing business in the Yorkshire region.
Shift Pattern:** 7AM-3PM, with the option to work overtime.
As a key member of the Engineering team, you will report to the Engineering Manager and take responsibility for proactive and reactive maintenance duties within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily plant inspections to monitor plant performance.
- Respond promptly to plant stoppages and implement modifications to new and existing equipment.
- Perform fault finding diagnosis and repairs on equipment and plant.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- A time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding a Mechanical HND / HNC / BTech / ONC / C&G Level 3 qualifications or higher.
- A degree / HND / NVQ L3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
