About the Role

As a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer at Amazon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global network of fulfillment centers. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
  • Supervise technicians on shift and provide guidance on best practices
  • Solve complex equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new technologies
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained with a HNC, HND, or NVQ level 3 in a relevant field
  • Relevant experience in a technical leadership role, with expertise in electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a multi-contractor and multi-site environment
  • Understanding of PLC-based control systems and statutory compliance requirements
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks
