Position: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
Salary: £37,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm

About the Role:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter at FCC Environment, you will be an integral part of the Waste Treatment Division (WTD) and associated quarries, providing essential onsite maintenance across various facilities in the Yorkshire region.

This is a full-time role, requiring commitment to a 5-day work week. We are open to discussing job share arrangements to accommodate your lifestyle preferences.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, gearboxes, and motors to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supporting process enhancements and site improvements.
  • Performing ultrasonic thickness testing on equipment and analyzing the results.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, and testing.
  • Collaborating with contractors and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
