Job Title: Technical Trainer

At GCS Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs to our personnel and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough Training Needs Analysis workshops to identify training requirements, including the training audience, stakeholders, roles associated with the subject of the training, and training gaps.
  2. Training Design and Development: Create Learning Specifications for each course module, detailing training objectives, enabling objectives, and key learning points. Develop training exercises, produce training content, including presentations, handouts, and other training materials.
  3. Training Delivery: Set up training environments, deliver training to personnel and customers, and conduct post-training delivery assessments to ensure continual improvement.
  4. User / Support Documentation: Produce user guides, manuals, and maintenance guides to support our personnel and customers.

Requirements:

  1. Level 3 Certificate in Education and Training
  2. Working knowledge of technologies used in our product set, including VMWare, Dell Technologies, networking, user acceptance testing, MS Cloud, and ITIL v3/4 Foundation Certificate
  3. Ability to establish and develop a new role within the organisation
  4. Attention to detail and ability to work to high levels of quality
  5. High level of written and verbal communication skills
  6. Confidence when interacting with customer personnel and skilled technical personnel
  7. Ability to represent the company when working at customer sites
  8. Commitment to continually develop technical skills
  9. Initiative and pro-activeness, matched by an ability to be a strong member of a team
  10. Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing organisational requirements

UKSV is required for this position. Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required.
