Job Overview:
The Media Exchange is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This dynamic role requires a proactive individual who will be responsible for maintaining existing revenue streams and driving new business growth within a designated market patch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a particular focus on digital and programmatic advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring consistent revenue generation.
- Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within your designated market patch.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across a range of businesses, including advertising agencies, media companies, and other industry players.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Programmatic Expertise: Utilize your understanding of the digital landscape to effectively sell programmatic solutions and services.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, with a particular focus on managed services and data revenue.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on digital and programmatic advertising.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with key industry players. Experience working with advertising agencies, media companies, and other industry players is highly desirable.
- Digital Landscape Knowledge: Solid understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including programmatic, mobile, Connected TV (CTV), audio, and data-driven advertising.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Experience in managed services and data revenue sales is a plus.
