Branch Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Sales Assistant to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a sales strategy that focuses on proactive customer development, lapsed customer re-engagement, and new customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities- Engage and inspire branch colleagues to support the execution of the sales strategy, ensuring they are professional, friendly, and enthusiastic in their interactions with customers.
- Understand local market competition to identify opportunities and develop strong sales propositions that meet customer needs.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers to ensure ongoing profitability.
- Liaise with suppliers to create local commercial plans that drive profitable sales.
- Ensure the safety of all colleagues and customers by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Support the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager in managing various aspects of the branch and business.
- Previous experience within a builders' merchant is advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to provide great customer service by building effective relationships and working as part of a team.
- Transferable skills such as sales experience, great customer service, and inspirational leadership.
