Branch Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Sales Assistant to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a sales strategy that focuses on proactive customer development, sales growth, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with customers to understand their needs and develop strong relationships to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with branch colleagues to execute the sales plan and provide support to ensure the team is professional, friendly, and enthusiastic.
- Conduct market research to understand local competition and develop sales propositions that meet customer needs.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers to ensure ongoing profitability.
- Liaise with suppliers to create local commercial plans that drive profitable sales.
- Ensure the branch is safe and secure, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Support the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager in managing aspects of the branch and business.
- Previous experience in a builders' merchant or a similar industry is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
- Transferable skills such as sales experience, inspirational leadership, and goal-oriented mindset.
- High levels of energy, drive, and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
