Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Lead a team of travel consultants to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Supervise, coach, and develop branch staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Ensure the health, safety, and general welfare of branch staff are maintained.
- Sales and Customer Service
- Identify and meet customers' needs by providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maximise sales potential by promoting travel products and services to customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Branch Operations
- Ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the retail branch and foreign exchange bureau.
- Monitor and control branch expenses to ensure profitability.
- Ensure all practices relating to health and safety in the workplace and security of the retail branch are adhered to.
- Business Development
- Develop and implement strategies to increase branch exposure and develop new business leads.
- Use social media to promote offers, generate customer engagement, and sales leads.
- Attend managers' meetings, conferences, and promotional events as required.
- Leadership and Management Experience
- Previous managerial/supervisory experience in a retail travel branch.
- Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
- Travel Industry Knowledge
- Excellent travel product knowledge with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems.
- Good sales and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Business Skills
- Good accuracy and numerical skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial statistics.
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business.
- Competent IT skills.
