Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a lead role in the delivery of comprehensive and effective recovery services to individuals who require our support. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to join our team at Cypress Hospital, where we provide rehabilitation services for people in mental health recovery.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans. They will also promote and improve the quality of service provided, manage the unit in the absence of the manager/clinical lead, and have knowledge of and experience in providing individual and group clinical/therapy work.
This role requires effective leadership skills, with the ability to advise and guide non-qualified staff and students. The successful candidate must also be able to maintain effective therapeutic relationships, acknowledging the rights and personal dignity of each individual, while encouraging opportunities for growth and development.
In addition to their clinical expertise, the successful candidate will be required to engage actively in required training and adhere to relevant Charity Policies and Procedures.
The ideal candidate will have NMC registration, experience in providing individual and group clinical/therapy work, and a working knowledge of the Mental Health Act. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
