Job Overview
TALKWORKS, an NHS Talking Therapies service based in Devon, is seeking a skilled Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join its team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-volume, low-intensity interventions to individuals experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering evidence-based CBT approaches to support the recovery of individuals experiencing mental health issues.
- Working closely with colleagues to develop high-quality services that meet the needs of local communities.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to supervisors.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in psychology, such as a PWP/LICBT certificate.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is approximately £28-32 per hour, depending on experience. You will also receive access to the NHS pension scheme and other benefits.
