About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Care Support Specialist to join our team in Camborne and Redruth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to adults and young people living in their own homes and apartments. Your role will involve developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, and promoting personal care and medication needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • To empower individuals to live independently and make informed choices about their lives
  • To assess and develop daily living skills, including personal care and medication management
  • To support individuals to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training, or friendships
  • To contribute to and develop individual care plans, working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
  • To maintain effective communication with individuals, their family members, and external professionals

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and patient approach, with a commitment to respecting individuals' differences
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, with a flexible approach to shift patterns
