About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Mental Health Support Workers to join our team at CC / South West / Cornwall. In this role, you will provide vital support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence.

Your Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Support: Assist clients with daily tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Challenging Behaviour Support: Manage and respond to challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide critical support during times of crisis, helping clients navigate difficult moments
  • Promoting Independence: Empower clients to live as independently as possible, building their confidence and skills
  • Medication Support: Ensure that clients receive their medication safely and on time
  • Specialist Clinical Care: Address complex clinical needs with expertise and compassion
What You'll Need
  • A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
  • The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Prior experience working with clients who have mental health challenges (preferred, but not essential as full training is provided)
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle
