About Us
GLG Vets is a dynamic and growing veterinary practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £62,500 per year, based on a 4-day week with occasional Saturday mornings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional veterinary care to animals through routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Perform surgical procedures including spaying, neutering, and minor surgeries as needed.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff for comprehensive patient care.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on animal welfare and general care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- A compassionate and caring approach to animal well-being.
