In this role, you will be working closely with our client-facing teams to deliver outstanding results and exceed customer expectations. You will lead a team of driver colleagues, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of driver colleagues, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Implement ongoing training initiatives to keep team members updated on new products, customer requirements, best practices, and company policies.
  • Respond to urgent customer requests as directed by the scheduling team or management team, which may sometimes involve working extra hours.
  • Conduct comprehensive induction training for new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
  • Feedback on performance, including knowledge, attitude, and skill, to individuals and management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Service Delivery and Driving skills.
  • To abide by and communicate/demonstrate Health and Safety regulations and COSHH, including always wearing appropriate protective clothing.
  • A full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
  • The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
  • Due to the nature of waste we handle and the customers we service, it's mandatory for drivers to have vaccinations against Hepatitis B, tetanus/polio.
