About the Role

MHR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academy People Development Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning services to our staff, supporting their development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs that cover soft skills, line manager, and policy-driven training, ensuring that all learning events are of high quality and meet the needs of our staff.
  • Continuous Evaluation and Improvement: Design and create continuous evaluation processes to inform on the transfer of learning and return on investment, ensuring that our training programs are effective and meet our business objectives.
  • Company Induction and Onboarding: Design and deliver the Company Induction program, ensuring that all new staff members have a comprehensive understanding of our organization, policies, and procedures.
  • Ad Hoc Projects and Support: Undertake relative ad hoc projects as required, providing support to other departments as directed by the reporting manager or higher, and providing support to departmental colleagues upon request.
  • Commercial Awareness and Business Impact: Maintain knowledge of company products, services, methodologies, policies, procedures, and customers, ensuring that all training programs are aligned with our business objectives and have a positive impact on our organization.
Requirements
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring services to staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Presentation and Training Delivery: Deliver high-quality training programs, using a range of presentation and training delivery techniques to engage and motivate our staff.
  • Product Knowledge and Commercial Awareness: Maintain knowledge of company products, services, methodologies, policies, procedures, and customers, ensuring that all training programs are aligned with our business objectives and have a positive impact on our organization.
  • Managing Self and Others: Manage yourself and others, ensuring that all training programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
