Care Support Worker

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team in Powys County Council.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people, have a flexible approach, and possess strong communication skills.
As a Care Support Worker, you will be part of a team providing care and support to residents across Powys, enabling them to live independently in their chosen place.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centered care and support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being;
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery;
- Conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to meet individual needs;
- Maintaining accurate records, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes;
- Contributing to a culture of excellence, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
You will be self-motivated, proactive, and a good listener, with a resourceful and punctual approach. No prior qualifications are necessary, and we offer a generous mileage allowance.
